Why does my Rigidbody fall through the floor at high speed?

This happens because the physics engine uses discrete collision detection, meaning the collider can move entirely past a thin wall or floor between simulation steps. To fix this, select your Rigidbody component and change the Collision Detection setting from Discrete to Continuous or Continuous Dynamic. You can also increase the physics simulation rate by lowering the Fixed Timestep value in Edit > Project Settings > Time.
